Katakuri will remain the standard for YC1. He was Luffy's opponent and Luffy's standards and opponents will always be superior to that of Zoro and Sanji's.

That logic is flawled tbh. Luffy's opponents only need to be above Zoro's when they're fighting them in the same arc. There's no rule that any of Luffy's previous opponents need to be stronger than Zoro's.

Zoro will get two major PU's and surpass YC1 level including Katakuri, Enma and something CoC related will help him to do that.

Katakuri only was said to be special because of his CoC, King getting it as well is prove that Kat was never special amongst YC1. Kat has FS while King has his "secret" that makes him so durable and tough.

Kat fans just need to stop making him out to be something special.

Zoro of course will achive the blacken blade with Enma in this arc so Zoro>Oden when Onigashima is over :kata:

Either I don't understand what an one trick pony truly is - in this case Katakuri might really be one since he's versatile af - or you're simply wrong about this lol.

Before you argue, it's clear that King is physically much stronger than Katakuri, he can also tank a lot more. But as I said, Katakuri dodges, he aims at weakspots, he uses his surroundings to attack. He's basically a better version of Doflamingo but with op COO.

Luffy has natural resistance against blunt force, being a rubber man. Haki does not nullify his DF ability. Plus him being the main character who can eat as much as he wants. Yet Katakuri's power mochi and especially Zangiri Mochi hit pretty hard. Plus having hax. Like suffocating Luffy and suppressing boundman. Same boundman that broke free of parasite, which on the other hand restained Jozu, a physical monster.

Interesting though how people claim Katakuri won't even harm King, while also claiming he will be too fast for FS Katakuri to shape shift around. When base Luffy partially dodged Thunder Bagua in base. With Katakuri's speed being >> base Luffy and shape shifting allows you to dodge even more effectively. Since you literally see the attack coming seconds prior and all you have to do is to put a hole in the part of the body that is going to be attacked.
