My interpretation was that Zoro was trying to figure out how the fuck Oden did it, so i think he came to the conclusion that there's no way Oden was controlling the haki thing all the time like he was doing, basically fighting off Enma.

Oden really became "friends" with Enma, by giving what it wanted and using it for what it was designed to do, that's why the name of the last chapter was "Oden's beloved sword".

So Zoro started doing the same thing, for all 3 blades.

Oden could wield Enma as a child. I think the most important thing is ambition/will along with power. Zoro wasn't confident enough, said he lacked strength. Now he has a boost in ambition.

He was wondering how Oden could fight like that.

I think the extreme haki draining is just a means for enma to test its swordman, soo it should stop once the sword has tested its user.

I think putting Rooftop Zoro at YC1 level is still the right decision imo. It's obvious that Enma been affecting his performance against King greatly, if he had Shusui right here that wouldn't have happened. But overall Adv CoC Zoro is for sure > YC1 not going too argue against it.

I can't in good conscience defend placing Rooftop Zoro a level below Post Udon Luffy.

Luffy had neither superior feats nor superior portrayal to Rooftop Zoro.
