Oden was defeating Kaido, but Oden defeated by Kaido because they took Momonosuke hostage.

Let me correct you:

- Straight Training on hard circumstances
- carring massive rocks while having Seastone-Cuffs (even stated that kaidos men were surprised Luffy could even move with it, Law f.e. was really injured and couldnt barely move with just one nail of seastone)
- Training boosted by having a rival (Kid)
- Massive Haki-Training with an experienced teacher

Coz Kaido didnt order his boys to hold Momo hostage

That's the only safe explanation we can give for now.

This totally goes against Kaido character if he ordered them to hold mom as hostage coz he couldnt handle Oden

It makes Luffy beating Kaido alot less believable. Im supposed to believe that Luffy goes from being one shotted to actually being able to put up a fight just by lifting rocks and beating fodder?

bm was not a monster at rocks incident and neither was wb. they made their name much after.
this is kaido roughly 20 yrs as a pirate. rocks incident happened 38 yrs ago.
he isnt as weak as yall think.
these reasons are becoming funny.
kaido has been an emperor for at least 6+ yrs. he is close to current kaido rn.

One thing is sure after this chapter. Oden don't even need the help of the full Whitebeard pirates. The Roger pirates lead by Rayleigh would be enough for him to overcome Kaido and the beast pirates, im sure they would easily do it. Rayleigh and Oden take on Kaido, Scopper and the third strongest Roger pirate would take on calamities and the rest get asskicked by retainers and roger pirates.

Imagine Roger would be with in the group, Kaido and his boys would run away from wano and Onigashima lol.
