Man you can't get the point... in the manga it spiceficly said that blade was broken when they tried to cut his hed, that spiers couldn't penetrate him etc. It was heavily implied that Kaido can't die. I anderstend that in 20 years can happen a lot but no matter what it's can't save anything.

And why cant this Change in 20 years? Come on, compare the durabality of luffy in a timeframe of 2,5 years since beginning of the Story. Now imagine this 8 times longer. Characters grow and get stronger and even back then it needed a powerhorse like Oden with one of the strongest swords and pretty sure heavily improved Haki.
