Be honest I like the reason behind the panels, Oda make it clear that Zoro and Luffy gonna have their battle against Kaido and not other one here.

And the two new panels with Luffy use advanced CoA confirmed it again.
You can´t use advanced CoA if your hardening and control isn´t strong enough, Advanced CoA and black hardening aren´t seperate, advanced CoA is just a next lvl of black hardening.

This hype pales however in comparison to the hype that will happen when Kaido will show his own Coa and his hybrid form.

His sword isnt hyped as Enma. His sword skills are hyped but his sword and WB bisento wont leave a scar on Kaido .

Why does it draw out the users haki when the user can already pour out their own haki on the sword?

Why does the sword cut more than nessaracy ?
