He doesn't need a reason. Oden significantly stronger then any of WB YCs, by feats/hype /portrayal. Hell if we believe the wank that this is prime kaido, oden feats are better then the damn admirals themselves. So it cancels itself out in a way. lls at him being Y2C lvl....

Nah, the admirals never had a train to begin wit. By the time there relevant the WG top guys, will be capable of soloing. The whole look an feel itself, in comparisons to whats needed to off kaido/BB/ WB won't stack up.

Zoro overtaking Oden in Wano makes the most sense from a narrative and thematic perspective, so it's what would happen. That it doesn't make sense from a power levels perspective is irrelevant as Oda doesn't care anywhere near as much as the fandom does about power levels.

And STILL, I stand by my word. The ranking of Roger pirates in their prime is:
1- Roger
2- Rayleigh
3- Oden
4- Scopper

The difference between Rayleigh and Scopper is so small, which makes Oden between them more tough of a competition.

So, yeah. I still give Rayleigh the edge because simply although I believe they are equal. rayleigh has more experience on the sea, and he has SEEN IT ALL

People in One Piece community be like this:

1- " Luffy should NOT defeat Doflamingo 1 vs 1"
2- " Luffy needed law's help, he should be defeated by Katakuri and not defeat him"
3- "Luffy got so lucky with Brulee and Katakuri being honorable and stabbing himself because of Flambe, he should get all the help against Kaido"

And then.. those same people say that "Luffy is fucking needing help in every damn fight, when is he gonna have a solo fight and prive himself? His Yonko title is a joke"

Oda honestly should be in this arc make Luffy wipe the floor with Kaido by himself so that those fans stop it hahahahaha

When you look at it, they wanted Luffy to get help in those previous fights. But those same fans ended up hating the idea that Luffy has never defeated any major opponent by his sheer strength alone since like forever!

I hope Luffy solo Kaido. He deserves it honestly

IIRC the numbers were referred to as the monsters of Onigashima and at the time of this battle it doesn't seem like Kaidou had made Onigashima his home yet. Oden appears to have challenged Kaidou & Orochi at Orochi's castle according to the spoilers, so chances are that Kaidou tamed them and then used them to bolster his forces at a later time, when he took over Onigashima, so I don't think they participated in the battle against Oden.

I totally agree on that. I guess it also depends who he fights, if it's one of their fav then they definitely don't want to see him in a solo fight.
They have to understand that he is the mc and it's a normal path that he's taking rn.
