Naturally Kaido will clash with others. But they will not be the factor for his fall.
Just like I am also expecting Luffy to clash maybe with King or Queen in a blow or two. It's an all out war.
Just like in Marineford, WB clashed with Akainu, Aokiji and Kizaru. But the MAIN FIGHT was WB and Akainu. While Akainu also stood up to Jozu, and clashed with Marco, Vista...etc. But his main fight was WB. Marco clashed with Akainu, Kizaru and Aokiji. His main fight was Kizaru.
In the same manner, both luffy and Kaido will clash with different characters. But the main fight will end up as Luffy vs Kaido.
Well, that's what Yonkotard have been selling for us for the last 10 years ever since Garp mentioned them. They are supposed to be different than the shicibukai villains we faced before. But it turned out that they also lose pride once they are on the verge of getting defeated
And again, I said that I would expect that move from Blackbeard cause his character was established to be this kind of cheater and pull of dirty moves
But Kaido's intrroduction, and throughout all his manga panels UNTIL NOW, Oda selled you that he surely is evil and villain. BUT when it comes to a fight. He is the type of man like Kenpachi from Bleach. He wants the strongest challenge, strongest enemy, and he wants him 1 vs 1
In fact, he's the type of man who is even ready to handicap himself. That's what the story eluded us to! That's what we all thought.
Then
Oden vs Kaido came this chapter
And all those thoughts went down the toilet. And now, Oda gotta change our perception of Kaido from being someone who enjoys fighting, wants to die fighting, wants to have the strongest enemy and die in a war. Into someone who would resort into dirty tricks when he's on the verge of losing and dying.. and basically chicken out. Do you realize how from a writing stand of point, Kaido's character now is opposite from what he was written as?
