But also in the spoiler state that the Grandma save up Kaido who even state it after he take out Oden that if the Grandma wasn't their, they would be in trouble.
Overall this chapter offer so much, not only that Oda hint/tease the ability of the Calamities, I want to know how long the battle last.
But be honest I still miss something. It isn't probably a big deal but recently I feeling like Oda don't show impressiv feats anymore. And with saying impressiv feats, I mean destruction feats. I can understand if High tier or under that lvl don't gonna show much destruction feats but I feeling like something is missing. Judging by the panels with I read, I don't see something similar as like when Roger clash with Whitebeard(wasn't even seriously) or Whitebeard feats in Marineford. I miss feats like we see in Dressrosa where Zoro cut up a whole mountain or Luffy splitting and lift up a city or Law mountain cut. The battle with Oden vs Kaido is a battle of top tiers yet they are less impressiv as the feats which I say above. Probably tomorrow we see more and crazy feats but I expect little more of top tiers clashing each other... Roger vs Whitebeard was crazy featwise,but as I said it isn't really a big deal and only in my opinion a normal "problem".

At first I thought luffy would do 70% of the job but yeah I'm more and more convinced that he will solo kaido.
I actually like that kaido cheap shot oden, because before that to people he was some kind of invincible god, now we see that fear can affect him.
And he will lose his shit again against luffy.

Honestly, after this chapter.
I came to terms with the people who were saying that Kaido is NOT the strongest in the series. And that people who are Haki monsters like "Shanks" are above Kaido.
Cause Oden basically in this chapter cleared the way for Luffy (in my opinion) to defeat him by himself. Naturally it's a big war, it will not be a clear cut 1 vs 1 without intervention. There will be some intervening here and there. But the major opponents imo will be Luffy vs Kaido
Cause after this chapter. the whole idea that "Kaido is special" / "Advanced Haki shouldn't be enough" / "There has to be some secret behind Kaido getting injured" / "Kaido is immortal". All that kind of shit went down the toilet with Oden wounding Kaido like it's nothing.
hell, Even Kaido mentioned that he would have been defeated 5 years ago if Oden decided to fight (since 5 years ago, Oden would join hands with Hyogoro, and the townsfolk were still on Oden side, so he would have gotten lots of allies)
Notice how Kaido once again, focused on Hyogoro. Luffy's current Haki teacher.
Is it bad writing? sure. I agree with you. It swiched Kaido's character 180 for me honestly.
Now, I'm one of the people who firmly think Luffy with advanced haki, can injure Kaido FINE. and sure, it'll take all of Luffy's effort and it will make him go beyond his limits. But Luffy basically GOT the tools that can defeat Kaido is all I'm saying
