The Legend Of Zelda Discussion Thread

I should've expected it better tbh, this just seemed too good to be true.

You watched it live?Glad i didnt, because 0 games was shown for me

Was hoping for a RE4 Remake trailer but nope
Was hoping for anything which seems great but aside from 2-3 games, everything was bad imo. Also, nothing from Nintendo, not a single game announcement.

Aonuma also stated that the development team were aiming for a '2022' launch date for the game

Yeah, there is no shot that the game is releasing in 2022. (I hope to be wrong though)
I recall that they said a similar statement when BotW was supposed for a 2016 launch date - turned out to be wrong.
At the end, this is nothing new as a Zelda fan. I've seen this kind of delays ever since TP. As I said, I just wanted to see information whether "traditional" dungeons appear or not. Imo that's more important than the release date.

Also, we fans rn, from expecting something Zelda relevant at the Game Awards:

While you are waiting for new Zelda games. There are Zelda style games to play like Darksiders for example.

Darksiders 1 have Zelda like gameplay with hack slash combat. Literally made for Zelda style game with mature rating. You can ride the horse. War is swordman. But it is easy game.

Darksiders 2 has Zelda style alike with prince of Persia mixed it with rpg elements. And it has open world with dungeons on it. It has loot system and has possessed weapons and allow to pick up to four abilities . It allow you use many weapons types types for sub weapon like hammer, mace, claws, etc. You are to play character called Death. Best of all, you can ride the horse at the beginning. Darksiders collection like stick and stones are worth for because it can boost your status at your choice.
But it is playable game with glitches on it but I can complete game two times included new quest with no problem.

It already have remakes for nintendo switch. I play both games on ps3.
Look up on YouTube video.

Still the absolute best theory on Zelda I’ve ever seen. So much so that I’m pretty convinced that this isn’t a theory and is actually legit:

Maybe not that Link himself actually died, but moreso that the entire game is a story of Link learning to accept that his best friend Navi will never return to him, and passing through the stages of grief as a result.

Which is why I don't really take in account the opinions of the juries and academies handing the awards, whenever it's for movies (especially the Oscars), series or video games.
This show was catastrophic in terms of juries and games in general. Aside from a few great looking games, I basically had the impression that all other games had the same kind of agenda to push their political ideologies onto their games. But the game itself? Either shooter or/and splatter - absolutely boring, my thought. What happened with video games nowadays?

That's why, nowadays I enjoy indie games MUCH MORE than this BS. At least you know when indie game developers try to be different compared to the current crap we're seeing now.

Actually, Link's entire life is freaking tragic at this point, he died as a lone hero, nobody knows what he truly accomplished so far.
He also never found Navi since MM clearly portrays the stages of grief to which Link was at the stage of acceptance at the end.

Twilight Princess and Hyrule Historia even highlights Link's tragedy through the Hero's Spirit, read the wikia:

I truly hope we might see a Zelda game as a continuation to MM as Adult Link before he dies.
