You guys need a guard that can not get killed on defense while able to create his own shot on offense. Sounds like Dejounte Murray to me but the Spurs wouldn’t sell him for anything less than a first and a suitable replacement with the way Dejounte’s been playing.
Tbh the Knicks kinda need Kemba’s offense, they’ve been 2-6 without him. And Burks stinked against Toronto.
No way Spurs trade Murray for anything less than a proven superstar. Hes by far their current best player and also a young player with the most potential on their roster. Spurs is one of the few teams that can rebuild without fully tanking imo given their development record (this may change if Pops retired though).
One interesting wrinkle is that apparently Jaylen Brown may be on the trading block soon. Its not often a relatively young all-star level talent is available for trade. I am actually relatively high on him (he seems be developing an injury history tho) so would be interesting to see what the asking price may be.

Yeah Murray’s asking price would be steep for obvious reasons. I saw some small buzz over the Knicks trading for him but they would have to really go in to have a chance.
I don’t see why Boston should move him rn, he’s been one of their lone bright spots in the season and the minute he’s back they beat the Bucks. Unless they’re getting a legit superstar PG back.
Y'all gonna be watching the Warriors vs Knicks game tonight? I wish I could be there myself in-person to see Curry break the record. The stadium would go wild when it happens.

yes am a sad Knicks fan (1-6 in the last 7 games), like @Haoku said it would be poetic for him to break the record at MSG considering his true breakout game came against us 9 seasons ago during the 2012-13 season. Before that game, most fans today didn't even know that he was consistently injured (especially his ankle) prior to 2012-13 and many people including the Warriors feared that he'd never be fully healthy or good enough to start for them. And at that time his extension deal of 4 yr/44M was considered an overpay believe it or not because of that, and in 2011-12 they almost traded him to the Bucks instead of Monta Ellis in exchange for Andrew Bogut but luckily Jerry West at the time saw Steph as the Warriors' long term future instead of Ellis and the rest is history

the only problem for the Celtics while they have 2 25+ PPG scorers (which almost no one else in the NBA but the Nets in KD/Harden or the Bulls in Lavine/DeRozan has), their depth sucks otherwise with a lot of stagnant iso offense and it's hard for them to improve the roster without moving one of the Jays (and Smart is not enough to make them better offensively either). Schroder despite all the 84M memes has severely outplayed his contract and if the Celtics can't nag a play-in/top 6 seed by February might think about trading him to a contender as basically a rental for the rest of the season since the Celtics won't have enough to pay him or offer (or anyone else that wants to acquire him)
They had it really good in 2018-2020 when they still had Rozier and Hayward (heck even Kemba before his knees started dying on him) on the team (both starters now on a young and upcoming Hornets team), they just don't have the depth to compete with contenders for a full 48 min.

Yeah exactly, Tatum and Brown is kinda redundant in their skillset, both likes having the ball in their hands and are only scorers right now. Also seems like theres beef in the locker room
The rona destroyed a third of their roster but damn makes me wonder what they ate before they laced up the way they’ve been peforming against the Wolves.
Not a good pick up, he would be more productive elsewhere. The Lakers need wing shooters and defenders not another guard who needs the ball to be effective. At this point, their front office and LeGM might gotta look at cleaning out the house by the trade deadline.
AD had 9 points and 1 rebound in 20 minutes and he went down going to the tunnel holding his knee. Hope it's not serious but I always fear the worst whenever I see him get injured.
Also, I think IT just walked to their team as their best scorer now aside from LeBron and AD.

I don't even know, man. Edwards isn't even playing. Their team was at full strength the last time they played. Really hope KAT makes the playoffs again. He's reminding me more of KG now with his attitude and watching gorillas fighting each other to the death lol.

The Wolves are definitely making the play-in. They have a different energy to them this year, mostly because of year 2 Edwards but they look straight on defense too.

Yeah. They potentially have 2 superstars and another all-star in D'Lo. It's funny that their defense is BETTER when D'Lo plays than when he's not on the court. Pat Bev has a lot to do with that. KAT is the forgotten big man 'cause his team sucked when GMs used to vote him to start their franchise years ago. AE is a more athletic Jimmy Butler (much better offensively than defensively).
I think they can even go 6th if everything goes their way and other teams do not. They just have that potential if they put it all together this year.

Btw, Lakers fans are going overboard with "Trade AD". Who're they gonna get? Lol

What's happening with Randle? Seems like he's the biggest reason why y'all are regressing this year looking at his stats and seeing him a bit in games.
A little sidenote: CLE is reminding me of NYK last year being 4th right now. Didn't think they had the perfect roster but they're making it work with all their bigs. Evan Mobley looks to be for real (like KG-lite) and a unanimous ROTY right now if he doesn't get injury or COVID in the future.
