Problem with the format of "marvel characters" (and dc ones) is that you have so many "takes" on the character, that is virtually impossible to actually define what said character is or should represent.
To an author the character is gonna be all about violence, brutality, guns, blood, etc, etc. To other, he will completely flip the style and focus on a more soul conflict kind of narrative, etc.

These comic character are "everything" and "nothing".
Which is why I don't find them appealing anymore.
It's up to interpretation and also depends on the version of said character

Cosmic ghost rider/punisher doesn't represent the same thing as earth 616 punisher

It might be the worse thing for you and me.
It might not be the case for other people who have different affections or values.
Don't try to standardize people's suffering.
If an adult with children would be so solipsistic to cry about his childhood struggles more than the annihilation of his direct family unit, then he is not someone to take seriously.

Moral relativism is not a standard I follow, I will continue to standardize and rank problems by my perceived severity as is my right.

Fancy words.
You could have just said "if people don't think like I do, then I don't think their opinion is valid".
Goes straight to the point. :P

An MCU film? Engaging? Well written? I've seen people say it's fun (it is) and something similar, but never that it's well written or engaging. That's new.

And you think actors want to star in MCU films because they're good? That's childish and naïve. Actors want to star in these movies because it's all about money and becoming an A list actor afterwards. It's like media products doing collabs with other media products - it's not for art's sake or anything, it's just another easy cash cow.
Ah so Benedict Cumberbatch, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Chadwick Boseman, and Vincent Donofrio all weren't award winning actors and millionaires before the MCU.

I see I see. Look at the fucking talent directing and writing these movies, then come back and tell me that.

yeah they were, and they took the mcu jobs because they pay more than oscar bait or comedy jobs.
