What happened to Fuuga being Ushimaru? His plot ended with him keeping the number 6 busy, Yamato is alone again. And shouldn't Robin and Brook be with Yamato, the poneglyph is somewhere in the same area she is heading to.

We're getting to the "your birdcage is in my way" portion of the fight except it's "your floating island is getting in my way". This is when Luffy goes G4.

So I expect

Gear 4 Luffy knocks Kaido around
Kaido awakens
Gear 4 runs out/stalling
Luffy comes back with 1 final finisher

I agree, but usually this is preceded by 1-2 chapters of basic skirmishing type stuff. Like Luffy vs Doffy had 780-783 before Gear 4 was even teased. And this was after Zoro beat Pica. Luffy and Doffy fought a lot during those chapters. We haven't really "gotten" a full blown set of chapter fights of exclusively Kaido/Luffy yet.

But we'll see what happens. There's just a lot side-plot beside this anyway
