Theres some rumors that Lakers may be able to get Jerami Grant. IDK how they have no actual tradeable assets.

It’s a shame because Lebron still playing like a top 5 player and it looks like its gonna be wasted.
Yeah. Pretty much used the remaining ones on Westbrook. Also Westbrook:

Shannon Sharpe will be rolling over his grave and he ain't dead yet lol

@RobertoTheOharaSurvivor What do you think about Denzel Valentine?

yah he's getting waived pretty soon (we also waived Wayne Selden a few hours ago) since we agreed on the trade to get $1.1M, and we're planning to sign Ryan Arcidiacono to a 10-day deal and possibly the rest of the season if he plays well (the FO seems to be pretty worried that Kemba's sore knee might be a much more serious injury)

Even if its not a serious injury now, I wouldn’t want someone with a history of knee injury playing Thibs minutes without rest :shame:

I am still not sure how teams keep getting swindled to trade for Westbrook. Maybe it would have made sense 5 years ago when he still had GOAT-level athleticism but now he doesn’t have the same explosiveness while his skills and bbiq is still pretty trashy.

It was also insanely obvious that Lebron and Westbrook wouldn’t mesh that well considering you probably don’t want to take the ball out of Lebrons hands that much and Westbrook is basically useless without the ball. This was how they were defending him on the rockets :cantseeme:

Ah, I've seen him. I think he can shoot it a bit but not much. As for Kemba, what Aron said. You gotta manage him as much as you can with his age and injury history on his knee (and Thibs being the coach).

It would make sense 5 years when he shot almost 35% on 3s (MVP season) and still shooting 80% on FTs but even that has declined. I'm sure LA (specifically LeBron) were the only team that wanted him so that they have their supposed big 3. The only compromise you can have now with LeBron and Westbrook is to surround them with shooters ala Cleveland LeBron and Houston Westbrook but they don't even have enough shooters to give them space. Speaking of HOU, Westbrook/Wall trade is the only trade I could see for Russ and they will probably decline that and Wall hasn't even played a game this season.

Jesus, i've finally found the thread where i shall spent my vacant hours talking trash of Steve Ballmer and the entire LA. Clippers. :crazwhat:, i'm a clippers fan btw. :kobeha::josad:
Welcome! Its okay, at least you guys don’t have to play in the Crypto.com Arena:cantseeme:

How did you found this? Its 3 years old lol

Oh yeah, besides the athleticism drop-off, its crazy how his free throws went from low 80s to mid-60s (the 3% in that season was a fluke imo). His free throws was one of the main reasons he was even league average efficiency wise during his prime years.

I think the Lakers have shooters, Melo/Monk etc., their problem is that they don’t have dudes that can both shoot and defend, so their defense is ass when playing those guys. They need Davis to play out of his mins defensively to cover for them and unfortunately hes had the worst post-championship hangover I have ever seen from a supposed superstar player. His defense is kinda mediocre when he plays now and his shooting went from above average for a 4 to straight ass.

Speaking of Wall, its kind of sad how his career turned out. I was a big fan early in his career and I thought he had legit best pg in the league potential. He had Westbrook/Rose-tier athleticism with better natural playmaking instincts. He just never got his jumper right and then his body just failed him (how do you tear an achilles in the bathtub). Now, his career seems basically over with Rockets paying him 40 million to sit on the bench. I haven’t watched that many rockets game but I wouldn’t think Wall would affect the tank that badly unless hes back to like legit all-star level. KPJ doesn’t really seem to have natural playmaking instincts, I don’t think it would hurt the toung players development to have a natural pg feeding them

Ey welcome! Oof about your Clippers but I respect the shit talk of your team. We have already one with the Knicks (Roberto) so you'll fit right in!

I don't really consider them "shooters" (maybe Monk). Tbf, I thought they didn't have enough shooters when they won the championship but they had the best defense to always stay in games when their offense wasn't great and, as you said, they don't have much 3&D players now. As for AD, even though I don't watch all of LA's games, the injuries are such a worry that he might decline faster than expected.

About Wall, he was awesome indeed in WAS. Probably my 2nd favorite East PG behind IT 5 years ago. He was kinda shooting more with the same averages as usual in HOU that KPJ was better when he had the ball more (he had that 50-10 game against Jrue Holliday of all people). He's also not playing defense anymore compared to his peak. It'd probably still trade him for Russ if I was LAL (though HOU might be the one to reject it unless they get THT or a pick) for the same reason when they were at their best: fewer spectacular performances but fewer bad performances than Russ.

Yeah I guess its more accurate to say that the Lakers have a few guys that can shoot (Monk/Melo) and a few guys that can defend (Bradley/Ariza/Stanley Johnson) but not guys that can do both, and then some dudes that are straight ass (Deandre Jordan/THT, I am really low on him). It really shouldn't be that hard to build a team with Lebron/AD at the core but Lakers front office somehow messed it up twice in a row (and arguably they got really lucky in the first year, waiting for Kawhi almost screwed them up - Kawhi should really get more props/infamy for some of the behind the scene stuff he pulls).

Yeah the 2017 playoff series between Washington and Boston was awesome (come to think of it, IT's career also basically cratered after this series). I don't think either team would make that trade, Westbrok doesn't strike me as the type of guy that would be fine sitting out games and Wall is just such a gamble right now, nobody has seen him play for basically half a season and he wasn't a world beater last year when he was playing (also had to take frequent time off). It makes some sense to at least give him a little bit of minutes to try to see if anyones interested in trading for him (granted that contract is insane).

:kobeha:

maybe he will need some conditioning.
looks like Thibs is ready to start him again and send Obi back in the doghouse -_-

:seriously:

either he goes back to being 2020-21 Randle or this is going to be a very long night against a depleted Pacers team...

even the dirtbag Colin Cowherd can't do anything but compliment Mike Breen XD

Mike Breen is legit one of the best casters. I also love h

As a NBA fan, it feels good to know he's coming back. Hope he can still play that high level of 17/18 and 18/19.
think klays shot still gonna be there (after rust comes off), he may just not be the defender he was

i am gonna laugh if warriors wins a championship while KD left thinking they were done and he would get an easier path with Kyrie/Harden

2nd straight game he's gotten the jersey typo lmao

Dirk!!!
I can't believe he has that jersey again. I also saw the typo not too long ago. You would think someone would let that equipment manager know that typo or he's just smoking on the job.

I also can't believe that I missed this as well. He's probably gonna get drug tested after the game lol. He finished with 30 points but blew the game
