Break Week Would Zoro and Sanji fans be happy if the straw hats were removed from the story, so the monster duo could shine uninterrupted by "lesser straw hats"?

Oda is the one who is actually bored of non-monster trio straw hats and only draw them out of obligation imo.
Just compare the difference of treatment between pre-ts and post-ts Usopp. He had a potentially interesting combi with Nami this arc yet their chapters got hijacked by Tama and Big Meme shenanigans. If Oda doens't care, why should I?

The other strawhats are honestly irrelevant for several reasons

Ussop still bullshiting. No reason why he hasn't learned better control of coO and started using guns with season stone bullets or learning weak variant of coA. Could even through in him using dials as a way to fight close quarters if forced to do so.

Nami should atleast have coO seeing that she has to be observant and predict the weather etc. Her powerup with Zeus is nice. She just needs better screen time and portrayal and coO at minimum.

Chopper should at minimum have coA coating. He should also get rid of kung fu point and make a better combination point instead. Lastly he should have created a rumble ball that creates the effects of sulong. A monster point chopper but compressed in a much smaller form for combat would be dope

Brook fornthe most part is fine. He just needs more screen time. Throw in a variant of haki and maybe awakening since logically he should be the closest to it

Robin for the most part is also fine. She just needs coA and more screen time

Jinbe is fine more screen time

Franky is good. He needs improvements to himself and not just his shogun. He should have a speed form of sorts. He should also have CoA

I disagree, every straw hat has their strong point not all of them need to be super strong, the problem is that there is not enough screentime to go around because the focus is 40% side characters 50% monster trio and 10% "lesser straw hats"

Then they should not be on the damn future pirate kings crew. At minimum the weakest link should be able to fight a vice admiral. If luffy wanted tons of weak people he should have made his crew bigger in numbers. It is small and therefore all of them need to be able to fight period

I'm honestly surprised (in a bad way) no straw hats got haki awakening this arc. Battling against an emperor crew was the perfect occasion for that. Fuck, Oda has the perfect excuse to hand a glass cannon like Nami's developped COO as she already has this weird weather predicting ability yet still nothing despite nearing endgame. Also did Oda forget Usopp awakened COO in Dressrosa? NO developpment on it since 300 chapters. There are believable ways to power-up every straw hat, it's all on Oda but I guess he rather focus on scrubbards.

The problem is that the end One Piece is still a battle manga where fights take a big portion of an arc, and weaker characters get the shaft during these parts.
If Usopp and Nami were better fighters, Oda wouldn't have had to involve the Big Mom bullshit against the two tobi roppo.

Wano arc has so many villains and Oda decided to make every weak trio member lose or win by luck, I'd like if they got fights like they did pretimeskip that had them win via their skills and not some dumb luck or outside forces, but Oda doesn't seem to care about that, which is why I think if they aren't going to shine via fights then they should shine with their skills in support, but that gets so little focus

Having some luck is expected in that type of series, like Sanji got a lot of luck with Queen in his fight this arc. The problem is when luck is the only reason they do anything, which is boring.

I want Robin and Chopper to be focused more than them. Robin is history explorer so she should get like Blank Century Twenty Kings Powers for himself rivaling Ancient Weapon, while Chopper is way cooler than both Zoro and Sanji since Chopper has the savviest Brain Point and the coolest Horn Point, Chopper should be Imu all along.
