General & Others Why is Zoro so popular?

I like Zoro because he is charismatic and ambitious. He knows what he wants and isn’t afraid of facing difficulties or going against other people’s opinions. He doesn’t suck up to others nor does he act super friendly to everyone. That’s what makes him cool, he establishes himself as a figure that people should respect as seen when he told Luffy to not welcome Usopp back unless if he apologizes. But at the same time, he also has a mischievous and sometimes goofy side. Like his getting lost running gags and even when he proposed to Usopp to play Rock Paper Scissors and cut off one of their hands, he sometimes just goes with the flow and I find it funny and charming.

All in all, Zoro is a well loved character because he is a good mix of badass, charismatic, playful and always a reliable member of the SH. Especially in pre-TS, when Zoro arrives, you know the villains are about to eat shit.

Because Zoro is simply Number 2 of the SH pirates (who are the main characters)
So, after Luffy. Zoro comes next, as simple as that, specially that is attitude attracts so many type of viewers.

i dont think japanese people are getting tired of luffy though. So that dynamic probably wont change IMO

Ummm after this one (the one who was done during WCI) he regains the 2nd position and Law is send to 5th position.
