Kaido has not been knocked out, Luffy has been knocked out twice.
Kaido has bigger durability and has zoan regeneration, which was highlighted multiple times himself with wounds closing completely (and explained through characters like Ulti and Page One) and people viewing him an unstoppable monster.

True. Still doesn't take away from the fact that his daughter who is also a zoan is telling the readers that upon fighting her dad she knows he is getting weaker as these fights drag on. This man gets it. This is what I been telling people. Luffys is going to have a fruit awakening. His fruit awakening is going to be him maintaining and using gear 4 without needing haki. Dont forget luffy needs to use armament haki to tighten his muscles after he inflates it with air. He is constantly externally and internally using armament haki to even use gear 4 hence why he runs out of haki so damn fast and has a long wait time. His awakening can help with this by being able to tighten his muscles without the need to generate haki to do so. So he wouldn't have to waste an absurd amount of haki in just sustaining the form

Awakening (until you are used to it) uses tremendous amounts of stamina from what we've seen from Law and Kidd.
I doubt Luffy's awakening will be used to soften the side effects of a previous trump card, he can do that with training. It will be used to take him to the NEXT level.

The reason Oda doesn't want Luffy constantly in Gear 4 is because it takes away the variety and keeps Luffy locked in a few forms to be semi-serious.

Luffy used no G4 against Hody Jones. Literally pure plot restriction. Also Luffy's having peak fun now, the time of his life, so it makes sense for his mentality to live in the moment.

Luffy is absolutely Yonko/admiral level right now and it’s absurd to say otherwise.

The way I see it Luffy is most likely in the “can probably beat an admiral but maybe not Top Top tiers” camp. Like Aokiji or Big Mom.

Oda proves again, having the same haki skill doesn't mean your haki is autimatically equal :
Kaido's aCoC /CoC still > Luffy's
Katakuri's FS > Luffy's
Luffy's adCoC > Yamato's > Zoro's

With his new powerup he will be a mid top tier at high stage, overall as fighter, with his new powerup he will be very close to high top tier. Making him a great pirate, perhaps one of the strongest mid top tiers.

Kaido is a stage above, high top tier and not just one of them, he is the strongest one.
Kaido/Yonkou/Akainu>High Top Tiers
Admirals/Oden> Mid Top Tiers

Oden > Admirals except Akainu

It's funny how roles between Zorotards and I have switched, my switch is based on new information while yours is based on pure fanboy bullshit.
I remmeber when there was no indication that Zoro would have adv CoC that all zorotards swore up and down that that was adv CoC, now that he has it confirmed zorotards don't like that it did no significant damage to Kaido and so are slinking back.
