kaido is making himself predictable.
but oda has proven in this arc to be extremely inconsistent with all haki rules.
if luffy can dodge thunder bagua, then it's hard to believe when kaido could hit him with much slower attacks.

Bro being drunk does not mean you're predictable. Drunk people can become erratic even if they're still conscious. Just cuz you're concious does not mean you're fully aware of your actions while inebriated. And where are you getting he's slower while drunk from? Luffy has been hit with Kaido's basic attacks a few times now as well.

I finna stopped lurking and signed up because people in this thread really putting Akuma-No-Mi (The "Literally A Devil" Fruit) on Tama or an Elephant (knee deep in sea-water) when we just saw a fruit user in this very arc go devil-mode, grow devil horns and bat-wings that they never could before.

Akuma No Mi is just "devil fruit" bro. The same way Gomu Gomu no Mi is Gum Gum fruit. Its the generic name for all devil fruits, Nico Robin has the Hana Hana no Mi, or Flower Flower Fruit

But have you noticed the name is nonsensical. The fruit has nothing to do with flowers. Why does Robin have a metaphorically named devil fruit?

No one is talking about it being "awakened", they likely meant the fruit hasn't "spawned". This is what they meant by rare devil fruits probably. Some fruits simply don't grow willy nilly, hence why they're considered rare.

Ah yes, I too liked Robin vs Black Maria and Hawkins vs Killer, as well as Sanji vs Queen

In that aspect it would make more sense. Using the word "awaken" is what was throwing everyone off.

How drunken mode is useless?....literally Kaido said being drunk doesn't make him weak...actually it makes him more unpredictable....remember rock lee drunken fighting style in naruto?....or remember Luffy vs Enel where Luffy went on similar mode against Enel?....reread the summary.....sigh...
