Their reaction means the fruit cant be from someone whos used its power outside of Wano, makes no sense for them to go ape shit over Gomu Gomu now wen theyve known Luffy's had it for years. This leaves fruits like Yamato's, Toki's or Tama's.

The framing kinda makes it seem like its Zunesha but it could be misdirection. Zunesha is known abt, but maybe their reaction was more to Zunesha showing up in Wano and finally getting involved.

My personal theory is that its another fruit entirely. Kaido is in Wano for some unknown reason, he only fucks with Zoan fruits, we still havent seen the strongest Zoan fruit like we have seen the strongest logia or paramecia. My guess is that whatever fruit it is its the strongest Zoan and it will eventually end up with BB.

Zunesha has the same type of eyes as Imu, Mihawk and Hakuba. I always thought it was weird that an animal the same eye type commonly used for humans.

The line is, "あの実は我々にとっても伝説だ", meaning, "Even to us, that fruit is a legend." That means that Luffy, Kaido, Momo, Brook, Robin, Law, Chopper, etc. can't be the user they're talking about because the Gorosei already knew of them. The fruit has to be one that has only recently come into their attention.

Toki , zunisha or something new

They knew about a lot of things...but never talked about it....Its just oda giving info not the characters or their situation...like how Gomu Gomu info was given by WsW that Gomu is important.... or how out of nowhere they are now talking about Robin etc... these points are made by the author to readers...not the characters themselves.

Toki fruit is a legend to them because the nature of the fruit dictate they can't hear about it, since Toki started using it and was the only users ever since the Void century

the WG changed its name, but Toki know the original name because she used it even before the name was changed, that's how old Toki story is, so we know the original name but we don't know the fake name

this is all preparation for Toki appearance Wich was rather obvious, but it may coincide with even bigger reveal that will explain how she survived ( cough Shiki cough)

The Gorosei specifically mention that the fruit is

A) A legend to even them.

B) Hasn't appeared in centuries (at least not known to the WG).

C) Is so dangerous to the WG that the WG (!) gave it another name.

That automatically eliminates Luffy's fruit, Law's fruit, Kaido's fruit, BM's fruit, Kid's fruit etc. since all those fruits have been know to the WG for a long time in the present, some of them even being in their possession for a while.

In terms of logic it makes zero sense for the Gorosei to talk about those well known fruits/powers that way. Zero.

You can eliminate every other option except Toki fruit, because :

1) Gorosei won't question it's existence because CP0 literally saw their fruits in action, unlike Toki fruit Wich they only heard about it
2) all of them acquired the fruit recently compared to how long the fruit have been missing, we're talking about centuries here
3) none of the fruits should make the Gorosei shocked or worried, but Toki fruit is a threat for obvious reasons

They are talking about "re-appearing".

On top of that we have already outlined why Luffy's, Law's, Kid's, BM's and Kaido's fruit make zero sense from a logical perspective.

Not relevant to this. Something leaked from the Reverie, and it had to do with Alabasta. Very likely Pluton. The Marines were also fighting over it and they aren't at Wano

I think when they said it hasn't awaken,they are not talking about a DF user using DF awakening power. Instead, they mean the DF is still missing and hasn't appeared for centuries.

Fruit users know the name of their fruit when they eat it

So luffy and laws fruits names are confirmed as gomu and ope as both have confirmed as such and the wg called both fruits as such

Not impossible Gorosei would want to get their hands on that fruit originally so they could control these OP giants like Zunisha and Sea Kings regarded as ancient weapon power.

Zunisha alone is able to one shot Commander tier characters + fleets

I think it's interesting that Luffy is both the strongest of the Supernova trio and yet the latest one to awaken his Devil Fruit, so that along with the Who's Who lore and the fact that the fruit seems to be as old as Joy Boy makes the Gomu Gomu a strong candidate in my opinion.

It would also be cool if one of the previous users of the Kibi Kibi no Mi was a Kouzuki that tamed Zunesha and that's what the elders are talking about.
