Especially after seeing King, i wouldn't put that much expectations on this headcanon where Right Hands are close in strength to their Captains.

I don’t see the logic behind rating a character above the admirals when that character will probably just get a few clashes in the story (maybe even against Zoro?) and then get offscreened by Shiryu.

Maybe I’m wrong and y’all are right but my expectations for Beckman in the actual story are low just because I think Oda has so much to get through and the RHP commanders will take a back seat in importance to the BBP, Revos, WG, Mihawk, and marines.

I’ve already read the manga so I’m just watching the fights. The dialogue makes me want to tear my eyes out.

The manga isn’t bad but it’s like a 7.5/10.

The anime meanwhile literally has peak animation, sound design, and direction which carries it to like a 9/10.

But we will see more of him if he becomes an ally for the final war.

He straight up gets overshadowed by Akaza and Kokushibo in his own arc.
