Well if you proceed carefully you should be able to exp without issues unless the quests will be crazy risky

I honestly didn't question if he was telling the truth because it would be absolutely stupid to lie about and get caught, when there is zero guarantee you will make it without votes.

It‘s not far fetched when it happened last game, too. And in All Stars with Lind becoming a captain through an ability. Abilities like that are pretty common, though it says nothing about alignment.
