The fight is so underwhelm because we don't have panels showing how Kids and Laws struggled with Big Meme, and how Big Meme superior to them.

All we have is the panel where those two got defeated. Then it becomes a fake defeat, and the loop keep repeating.

With this format, either win or lose, they all will look bad and lack believability.

People need to remember that she's been fighting them since 1000:

This is about a chapters worth of her solely attacking Kid/Law (and Killer) BEFORE they use awakening, which is 4 additional pages in 1030, and is given 5 pages of reaction/fallout in 1031. Then they get another 6 pages last chapter, followed by what is presumably 14-15 pages of fighting this chapter.

Then I didn't even include Kid's double spread against her in 1013 either.

Adding all that together, it's well over 50 pages of fight content EXCLUSIVELY with Big Mom EVEN when things have been offscreened. It's literally more than Sanji and Zoro get for Queen and King, which were both under 50 pages total, and still their longest fights ever.


Tldr: Big Mom's fight is ironically the longest fight in Wano (including this chapter) save for Kaido even with the offscreening. This doesn't include her attacks against Luffy and Zoro earlier on, stuff before the rooftop, and some of Kid and Law's attacks.

When you think about it, law could probably one shot king and Queen with this attack since it hurt from the inside, so King durability doesn't matter at all

One funny thing in the Kid and Law combos versus Big Mom is that Oda always showed the effect of Kid's attack a chapter after it landed

So looking at this, we'd probably only see the effect of Kid's ultimate attack in the next chapter, and considering it's supposed to be a finisher, it should be devastating

Zoro couldn’t even “destroy” King. Meanwhile Law is making Hakai level attacks and defeating Yonkos

I see it landing vs Queen but unlikely vs King.

Law is yet land attacks without help or well stationary target like BM.
