If I am not wrong law was nerfed against smoker since his heart was literally not inside him. That would explain smokers situation. I mean law couldnt win against vergo up until the point when he got his heart back.

The heart didn’t weaken Law it just made him incapable of fighting Vergo since Vergo had it. It was never mentioned anywhere else that losing the heart weakened his stats.

And reminder Smoker and Vergo both stated that Smoker let Vergo beat him.

Well, we don't know if it only affected law against vergo or generally. If it didn't then it would indeed be a logic hole, but if it did my argument would still make sense about the whole CoA level stuff.

This could only mean that the one who is using invisible CoA just has higher base stats than the one who uses black CoA. Take an Gifter for example who uses black CoA against someone like Sanji. Sanjis stats are blatantly higher than the gifter user and thats why Sanjis invisible CoA is stronger. That would explain it.

Sanji coa was always crazy strong because at the first stage without Harding, look at cracker who's coa without Harding was stronger than luffy's this says a lot about a person who has train there coa but now sanji is using Harding which should but his coa on a completely new level, I mean look at all the things the guy did with basic coa, no one in the crew has done, not even luffy can block blade without Harding or other attacks

Also Zoro has defeated King why would he lose to Apoo who was afraid of Queen? Zoro would beat Apoo fairly easily.

Zoro didn’t have the need to develop hardening yet the author said he specializes in CoA? He doesn’t need to develop hardening yet Mihawk trained him in it? As I said I consider it the same as the water effects in Demon slayer just visual effects for Oda however, with certain color schemes and character that would be ugly or take too long. There’s a reason Oda doesn’t draw Full body haki much. And very early post timeskip Oda showed that the black haki isn’t something like a new level when Smokers “invisible” haki blocked laws blade but Vergos full black haki couldnt.

We know this isn’t true. We can use Luffy for an obvious barometer. Luffy doesn’t do black CoA everytime he uses haki. Yet the more powerful attacks all use visible CoA.

But he doesn’t harden just to touch a logia.

The black coating is not a level. That’s never been shown in canon nor alluded to. Why would Oda only showcase it sometimes as a visual effect? Because doing it too much would make the manga messy that simple. Should Oda draw big mom and Kaido covered in black haki at all times even tho law said they’re always defending with haki? No because it makes a messy manga.
