Would getting info twice be necessary in this situation is the question. Surviving a lynch usually implicates anyone. Using her claim to verify the council, which considering it's small pool of players, offers us enough information to scrutinize if she was telling the truth should the lynch fail.

The consensus is that both, Nana and Xlaw are scum and that using both the lynches we have today to try and eliminate them is the better option.

If there's merit to basing any play on extracting info out of their ability, then yes, there's merit in getting info twice. Especially as a hedge against her being lying scum and only having one lynch save.

The assumption that we can take them both out is based on what Nana has told us about the condition of her ability, which if she is scum, we have no prior reason to believe.
