His awakening was but everything else felt weird. I expected Law to be using ROOM to swap Kidd with debris to get out of the way of attacks or to sneak attack Linlin. To swap away the homies for a moment and make it easier for them to pressure her. It's not mandatory or anything but I feel like Law's fruit was underplayed at a basic level and that the fight would've been more interesting with it being used.

I can't disagree with what you said and its correct as well.


But initially law and kidd were getting overwhelmed by BM. Tides got turned after awakening but both said it's very draining and exhausting so thus the reason why they didn't manoeuvre as their df abilities allow especially in case of Law.

And, to me by 15 mins time limit Oda put himself into corner and left no room for fleshing out yonkou fights more.
