Future Events What if Elbaf isnt next?

It's had the most foreshadowed plot threads, so natural expectation is that it's our next destination.
I subscribe to that prediction as well, but I'm not as firm as others.
It could be a quick stop on the way, or we could avoid going there all together.
Either way, I expect another arc after Wano, then Laugh Tale, then the final war.
Should all wrap up nicely in 9-10 more years :yasu:

Yeah, this is the main reason why I think that if it's next, it's a combined Vegapunk/Elbaf arc. Go back and see all of the references to Vegapunk and Gigantification, and how that tied to Caesar, Germa, Big Mom, Kaido (the Numbers), etc. It's ridiculous really lol.
I mainly think there is something in between though, some (hopefully) small transition arc that gives us more background on another faction, i.e.
Blackbeard and Hachinosu or Shanks' main island.
Maybe that place reintroduces us to Bonney or Urogue. Maybe that brings Crocodile back finally. Maybe this segues to some major conspiracy with the Underworld and that plotline (which isn't over BTW), and maybe as to who truly runs it beyond the Underworld Emperors. Maybe that leads to Vegapunk/Elbaf.
Maybe all of this leads to the Final War. Like how Punk Hazard not only lead to Dressrosa, but to Zou and culminated to Wano.

Agreed. It's interesting that a lot of people dont realize it's legitimately a "saga" that we still have left, just like the Yonko "saga". The difference is, Japan doesn't have a differentiator between "saga" and "arc" (i.e. it's just Yonko "arc" or "storyline" in Japanese).
So when Oda says "Final Arc", hes really talking about the final grander storyline. Which is obvious considering we have multiple islands left lol

Elbaf won't take more than 20 chapters imo. It will be a set-up arc just like Zou. And I don't get the downplay against the Giants. People said they're mostly fodders which is not true. Back in pre-timeskip, Dorry and Broggy have their own mini version of Hakai which cuts the ocean in a long distance. Hajrudin is young but he's still pretty strong. Being the captain of New Giant Warrior Pirates and all. And even Big Mom said that if she had Giants on her side, she would beat Shanks, Kaido and even Whitebeard long ago. And she would have become Pirate King. So the Giants of Elbaf can't be underestimated.
Vivi having Kuma's fruit sounds weird to be honest. It doesn't fit her fighting style imo. But Koala definitely would be op with Kuma's fruit. Imagine Fishman Karate + Paw Paw fruit?
Kuma's power is stupidly OP. With Nikyu Nikyu, Vivi can even one shot EOS Cook.

Damn, that’s quite a read…I have my own exhaustingly long theory about what will become of Kuma, but it seems like they hit a lot of nails on the head there
