A case of hiyori joining : parallel and foreshadowing

At the intermezzo of act 1-act 2. We got to see BBP condition and some of them even showcase some new abilities. Moving a bit forward (act 2) we saw some parallel is happening

Shiryu shows clear fruit ability. On act 2, stealth black ability is shown similar like clear fruit

Inverse parallel between teach and luffy. Teach is partying and free while luffy is imprisoned and enslaved

Devon revealed to have kitsune/fox devil fruit. Not long after komurasaki is introduced and have kitsune mask

Both devon and hiyori acting to be the ghost. Absalom and komurasaki.

In one piece green, Devon was planned to have beautiful face. But oda rework her design and made her not beautiful. Komurasaki is the most beautiful girl in wano (it is even said narratively)

"But hiyori hasnt shown some interest of leaving wano"
Yes she hasnt stated that yet. How can she was said that when her country is suffering.

oden already shown momo and hiyori the world. A little bit of narratives could bridge her motivation for going out to the sea
:akaman:

my next agenda for hiyori. Kinda make me nervous. It could make or break for hiyori
- flashback with oden. DONE ✅
- toki as mentor. As we all know orochi is afraid of toki's prophecy
- luffy first impression
i'm not against Hiyori being a secret samurai and joining the crew

So how does Yamato giving him a push mean that she'll decide to stay in Wano? Luffy pushed him numerous times and that doesn't mean he's staying by his side.

Luffy was a big brother for Momo, but it's time for him to go. What Momo needs is a guiding light, some one like Luffy and Oden and Toki, who will give him enough confidence to move forward.

Can Oda pull something out his ass like architect or musician (or, for your case, lookout) for any character he wishes? (Y/N)

And yes, Momo did have an actual real role in the series set aside for him, he could have been, like Shanks in Roger’s crew, the apprentice. Still could be.
No. Not without setup. There is no world where Oda won't setup massively such a thing.

Carrot has been throughly setup as a Look out. It took an entire arc. It's completely and utterly impossible for Yamato or anyone else to take that role.

Yamato has to be shadowed in the post. It's mean showing the ability for a post, it can be easily done in plain war:.

Momo had zero role. None. Nothing. Apprentice has never been a role for Momo and Momo has NEVER been setup into that role.

So if Adult Momo does Join, since he may look just like Oden, will he just inherit Odens bounty and that’s why Oda isn’t releasing it?
Why would he inherit his bounty? Ace didn't neither did Luffy.

Unless you think they will call him Oden, which destroys his character arc of him becoming his own man

That’s the thing, similar to how Duval was mistaken for Sanji pre timeskip, could Momo be mistaken for Oden.

As for the character arc, I wonder if that could relate to it and Momo having to prove himself and not just “oden”

But let's put that to the test:

If Carrot ends up having at least ONE panel in the following chapters focused on her as a protagonist and not just another character part of the mink tribe..

It will prove that Oda is not done with her as a protagonist.

So let's see what the future holds...
Funny.. this was before I knew anything about this chapter.

I showed panels of Luffy explicitly saying that Momo needs to stop being a coward and nothing in this world should scare him.

Also showed panels of Yamato ditching and hitting Momo for trying to not face his fears on his own (since you know, she was there and believes in what Luffy said). Not to mention her saying many times that he will guide the world to its dawn so she already has complete faith in him stepping up.

Solution: Momo needs continuous hand holding. Yamato feels bad for Momo being scared of something Luffy directly called him out for and decides to give up her dream since she doesn't believe in him.

Momo directly telling Yamato that his worried about the people of Wano and questions if he needs to keep the borders shut like their needs to be somebody protecting Wano while it's borders are open:pepestrike:

Could make or break her character, important chapter next if the Momo plot continues...

It's a good thing that the previous guardian deity and dragon god of Wano has the exact same fruit as Momo, who's character arc has been about him not being afraid of anyone that may come through the borders. As Luffy said, since he took a bite out of an emperor of the sea, what else is there to be afraid of?

It doesn’t matter how many clues, dialogues & evidences toward the obvious direction. What matters is his headcanon comprehension. Larrot showed up in a shared, small, irrelevant panel with Neko & Wanda, barely says anything, is considered a “protagonist focus”

Sorry I really have to laugh a lot today

Yes. Momo must stop being a coward. But stopping being a coward doesn't mean to stop asking people for help. In fact, asking for help is sometimes the most courageous thing someone can do.

And

And concerning the relationship Yamato/Momo, you are forgetting/twisting a few things here:

First: Yamato felt sorry for ditching Momo at the first place to fight Kaido even tho it was needed.

Second: If Yamato did hit Momo, it was not because he didn't want to face his fear, but because he had a bad idea. Momo saying that he should stop Luffy.

And third: Yamato did not just "ditch" Momo after this because he did not want to face his fear, shea left after gaving him instructions in order to save Onigashima from an explosion.

So yes.. Momo still needs help and there is no shame in that, let me remind you that he is still mentally EIGHT.

Yamato won't give up her dream. She will just transform it to fit her reality. Adventure don't always take one unique form.

Yes.

You stan a completely irrelevant character and no amount of deluded page long ramblings will change that.
Still no
