I would lowkey enjoy an arc where Zoro is half dead or something and Luffy had to go to hell to retrieve his soul and the devil had a pirate crew

I've been thinking about the possibility of Zoro being dead lately. If Zoro is dead Oda could have Marco bring Zoro back to life with his devil fruit power.

Marco has a mythical zoan df, phoenix type. A phoenix is a mythical fire bird that is reborn in the ashes it dies from. Oda could give Marco awakening which allows them to revive anybody that just recently died.

If Zoro does go to the underworld he could meet and possibly fight the king of hell for that title. I wouldn't be surprised if Zoro meets Ryuma in the underworld who gives us a history lesson or flashback. I've been thinking about when we will get a flashback about Ryuma. That could be the perfect opportunity.

Could be a possibility it would def need to have some drawbacks imo like possibly Marco losing his life for it… I think it could work and as far as whitebeard goes maybe he didn’t have it awakened at mf or if he does at the end of the day whitebeard was old and got his fruit stolen so instead of bringing wb back he choose to just honor his death understanding that he was old and sick

It could be a power that he obtained after Marineford and he can only use it like once a year. Oda can put limitations on it.

Marco DF power is the Phoenix which is a creature about death and rebirth. That's different than Law's power the focus around manipulation of a certain space or area.

Law cannot revive anyone. He can grant eternal youth.

Granting x character the ability to resurrect anyone doesn't make sense in any fucking shonen, it doesn't matter what. It just doesn't make sense. Period.

Brook's statement can be a mere expression.
It's not like he described the underworld like an actual place. He only knows that after he died, he returned in the form of a soul and maybe simply assumed that he came back from the underworld because there is the preconception among common folks that when you die you go to the underworld.
