If Luffy "loses" this chapter and there is no named "Vs" chapter for Luffy and Kaido, then its not over and it's not the "final" fight. It'll happen later (3-6 chapters probably)

Lots of other plot points to address still.
Don't worry luffy will win. He'll do something that gives him immense power but it'll damage him heavily. It might take a lot of lifespan.

We are nearing EOS and i believe that Luffy will die at the end of the show.

Just need a bit more lifespan taken away for that to happen.

99% it's his awakening.

It'll probably happen while he's unconscious. Last chapter proved the Gorosei were talking about Luffy's awakening. It'll be a big moment for sure

People have to realize that all of this is really just leading to a break in the fight where Kaido's flashback can happen and for Luffy to get his hyped up awakening that has been teased since 1037 now.
All this will lead to is bad writing where Kaido has no reasons to not kill Luffy for good after he already said in 1013 that he made a mistake by not taking his head as a trophy
