Doesn't matter that much ; the fact that kaido can fight after taking so many attacks non-stop while lifting an island is very impressive and you can also say similar to last Ragnarok attack where luffy was surprised by Kaido's speed and got hit

Luffy was even fine with the whole assassination plot on Big Mom during teaparty. He respected Katakuri for his honor but that's it.
It wouldn't wonder me if Luffy gets up again next chapter and tells Kaido the exact same thing which he told to Katakuri before.
