- Chapter 1,043: “"The guts to never give up”.
- Kaido stares at Luffy and says that he will kill everyone on the island if he doesn't wake up
-We see Kaido transform into a new gigantic hybrid form and go down in the live floor, everyone is shocked and terrified.
- No one can stop him, he noticed Kid and Law and when he was about to kill them a shadow with wings appears and projects Kaido throughout the live floor.
- The shadow appears to be Sanji fused with Marco, without a word he jumps towards Kaido with light speed, Kaido predicts with his observation haki where he'll go but Sanji moves faster than his reaction time, he gets attacked with an epic barrage of kicks, Sanji speeds up with geppos everytime he's about to get hit.
- Kaido uses an outburst of haki (everyone in the live floor faints except for Sanji and Marco, he then worries that he won't be able to keep up with Kaido if this continues.
- At the end of the chapter a shadow appears in the back of Kaido, it looks like a grim reaper...
