Honestly, I can understand the desire for Zoro to have more connections with the Wano Samurai/the country in general. And the prospect of Zoro fighting a Wano samurai does sound enticing. However, Oda's given little room for such a confrontation to be interesting. If Kyoshiro indeed has the desire to open Wano's borders and drive off Orochi and Kaido, there's little incentive for him and Zoro to fight.
Even prior to this reveal, almost nothing was done to intrigue us to that matchup in a way that'd set it apart from say a King battle. We were less concerned about Zoro vs Kyoshiro and more about who Kyoshiro really is.
At least with King, we know he's a loyal subordinate of Kaido's. Zoro fighting him helps to contribute to the alliance's victory. There is weight behind that conflict.
Perhaps we learn something about Kyoshiro this chapter that would make a potential battle with Zoro neat, but I seriously doubt it. He seems firmly on the Alliance's side, from the looks of it.
As for Zoro Wano connections, your best bet lies with the Shimotsuki and Ryuma, since they are the ones Oda has linked to Zoro the most.
