Why Kyoshiro strong enough for Zoro to require a power up and a new technique

Zoro beat pica the mountain man with a technique he used in East blue... Surely we should go through Zoro's Grandline techniques before suddenly requiring brand new techniques just for this guy... people seem to be underestimating how little Zoro has been trying in the new world

So you mean like luffy vs Blueno... The problem is that Blueno was an actual contender before Luffy got gear 2 and that's why the flex was good... This Captain guy IS NOT A CONTENDER for Zoro before he had Enma so stomping him isn't a flex

yup ^^ and haha, we still don't know where he ranks yet :p but I'd wager he's around the same general level as the likes of Ashura, Inu and Neko. If so I think he'd be a good warm up for Zoro. Also we shouldn't underestimate the Wano Samurai, they have some pretty interesting techniques that Zoro could pick up. Plus he himself stated that he'd like to fight the Wano Samurai way back on PH IIRC.

No you are lying. When Zoro’s fans said that Zoro will fight King we were mock and called wankers. As I say do not insult people intelligence, none of us have short term memories. We have not forgotten how idiotic we were to suggest that Zoro could face King when Luffy had difficulties with Katakuri or after he faint to « a nerf pleasure ».

It's Oda's formula. Zoro usually fights the second strongest. This is even mentioned in the vivre cards. King and Queen seem tailor-made for Zoro and Sanji.

From what I've gathered King has a sword, so that makes him a swordsman, therefore he is Zoro's opponent. Even though we don't know who's fighting who yet. Once the war actually starts on Onigashima we should have a better understanding of the fights that will take place there.
