They probably will provide a release date once K9 finally goes down, tbh, because that's the only logical point of ending the season.

It depends how long M9 fight will take

If it is a 30 chapters wars or something like that I can see the first season to stop when M9 absorbed Isao and both Kafka and Kikoru promising to progress/train

Didn’t watch/read de.stone but yeah chapter 54 can be a good season ending. Or at worst chapter 55.

For context without spoiling, let's say Dr. Stone season 1 ends exactly after K9 won against Isao, if Dr. Stone were Kaiju No. 8.

Between 54 and 55, I'd rather it be 54 outright or 55 but with the bits with K10 removed.

I think the opposite lol. Either only 54 outright but if there are 55 parts maybe only the end of the 55 to add tension for the next seasons. We end the season with Hoshina in front of M10.

Yeah both are the new gen best and closest to the MC.

Leno seems more unique given his compatibility with monster 6 but I think Kikoru is more of a prodigy in overall combat and with the power suits

So i can see Leno being stronger in power but in a fight I see them around equal

Could be the case. Yes Kikoru seems like a bigger prodigy when it comes to fighting skills, I agree. I'll favour Leno, by a slight margin like I mentioned.
