I think that's one of the biggest downsides of postskip, is that Oda has for some reason gone the route of cramming as much content on a single page as possible. The scene of him ragdolling Kaido would hit much harder if it took up the majority, or mostly all of the page.

Kaido is on his last legs yet can take a couple more attacks in the same way that Law can exhaust all his energy with KROOM puncture willie etc. then apparently have enough energy left to cast another spell
