- most of his fame is from his duels .... well make sense to me .... but I guess it's the world fame ... Shanks is a shady guy ... most of his actions should be unknown to the world .... so I'm fine with this ... but it's not a one way deal ... I'm sure most of Mihawk fame is from this fight as well ... if not? I'm interested to know more


- people calling Shanks the Roger's hire ... well on WORLD POINT OF VIEW ... it make sense .... not in plot


- Shanks being unstoppable when he is angry .... I think it's true ... he is not the type of man who be angry that easy but he he dose like Luffy he would push himself to next level ... so I can see even 4 years before a mad all out Shanks beating ANY ONE

let's say Whitebeard kill makino in front of Shanks's eyes .... my money is on Shanks ....

just like when Garp was going to kill Akainu ... even that i consider Akainu stronger ... I bet Garp would kill him

- Shanks is hard of shit head rookie .... keep in mind ... the novel is before we know Kidd story ... so this make the novel more canon

- Shanks men rather die to fight Whitebeard ... well ... his vet levels are saying this ... and it's rather true ...

- Shanks was the bar for Yonko level .... it's true as well .... 4 years ago he was surly the weakest among the 4

Deuces explained to WB that if Ace attacked him it is because he wanted fame and recognition. To that WB answered that if it is only fame and recognition that Ace seek why he tried to attack him specifically he could have attack a Shishibukai or another emperor like Shanks.

This make sense now. Beating Schibukais would help gain more fame than beating any other Pirates bar the Emperors.

If I remember correctly it was more a debate between two-three fodder pirates who had a discussion about who was the stronger Pirate, Kaido or Whitebeard, so it isn´t really a statement of something, more like a debate as we have here in our arena section.

The 3 fodders are to represent how the world in OP debates powerlevel ...wasn't it Deuce talking to Ace?

It's the people or WG that gives Titles...
To be WSM : surpass or have similar legacy/piracy as WB
To be WSC : be unkillable and 1v1 King as Kaido or beyond.

This is why nobody has WSM title currently
And none will have WSC after Kaido

I need to check up the old information but I think the whole debate was about Kaido or Whitebeard beeing stronger, fodder pirates had a discussion about it. Which make the question, did Kaido surpass Old Whitebeard already? In both case I think the hype of Kaido rise to beeing right now the strongest one.
