That's the same phrase WB says to Shanks in ch 434:
お前と鷹の目との **決闘の日々** もおれの耳にはまだ新しい

It doesn't specify if there were one or many duels.
決闘の日々 could mean:
the "days of your duel(s)" or the "daily, day-after-day duels"

The number of duels is not confirmed T.T

Eh, i get what you are saying but nothing implies he grew stronger than bm for example. But i get what you mean. Either way they are all pretty much equall anyways with sligh diffrences( an akainu and aokiji situation if you will)
