- His fight with Teach (the second main antagonist) allows him to become a Yonko

Overall Marco was developed the most and is by far the most relevant YC in the story (obviously not counting Ace)

Katakuri and Marco remain the most built-up in-depth YCs in the series. Their presence in the plot wasn’t just a power demonstration and a foil, but also to have more characterization.

King, Smoothie, and any other YC dont or will never have that luxury.

Lol mate Katakuri won't appear again before a long long time (final arc). He got the build up because he was Luffy's previous opponent. But like lucci, eneru, moria, he won't play any big role in the future. Marco is different because he is an ally.
