aren't little things like that a lot of the complaints we as fans have about the strawhats post ts .

Luffy can gain a fodder army wherever he goes and has gained 1-3 core strawhats across this war rather than lose anything, he's only 19 and has already reached yonko calibre fighting potential.
He didn't spend 20 years building a failed gifter army. He spent 1 day in Dressrosa to get a grand fleet.

The problem is that both Yamato and Momo are eating panel time. If the SH don't do anything interesting then I'm fine with them not appearing.
But Oda has spent at least 1 page every chapter on Yamato for 20 chapters and she is in the same exact spot she was, with the same objective as before. No developtment at all, just 100 panels more.
A lot of things that have happened between Luffy coming back and now just feel like padding just so Oda can throw dumb twists later. Like the whole fire situation this chapter feels like Oda trying to cover his ass with Nami and Usopp not being able to put it out but they didnt fucking care 30 chapters ago when it was starting. Hell, the literal protector deity against fire was running around the castle a few chapters ago and didn't even fucking care (which after this chap looks even worse because seems like the fire is so bad that It could easily still set the armory on fire). All of that just so Raizo uses a deux ex machina to put out the fire.
At least Jinbe got to do something useful.
