Analyzing things I see how funny things are, we left:

1. Base luffy = Hybrid kaido.
2. For G5 luffy = Hybrid kaidou.
3. G4 will make kaidou a toy.
4. Kaidou killed the G4.

But still at last luffy will defeat kaidou

And you’re goalposting saying the straw hats WONT be relevant at the end despite the fact that every time Kaidos defeat is mentioned were hinted that it’s the straw hats who’ll do it:

1. The nine shadows prophecy - Kaido has said that Luffy casts strong shadows - Luffy is being portrayed as the dawn and the coming of the sun
2. Odens words about “in twenty years powerful pirates will blast into the new world” despite only one pirate crew entering the new world exactly 20 years after he spoke those words.

The straw hats are very likely relevant in the climax of this fight.

Luffy beating the Kaido and the straw hats defeating Kaido aren’t mutually exclusive

I'm not goalposting shit, nothing in the manga has alluded to any of the strawhats facing Kaido lol. You are making that up based on words from Toki and Oden. They ALREADY fought the Beast Pirates and won.

Even if most of the damage is done by Luffy he still took a nonstop gauntlet of attacks, natutally they would mount up.

You don’t think he could awaken if Luffy knocks him out into the fire capital and then he and his fruit are fighting each other mentally which leads to him going into a nightmare rage type thing

With all due respect where do you get that from ?? it was never implemented in the story that the awakening is the DF battling it’s user or happening in death ( Luffy ) all of these are just assumptions
