Isn't it obvious what she's replying to?"

The "look ahead to 20 years in the future" seems random, but the you read the full letter in the next chapter and it is clear what she was replying to.

It is *not* a prophecy. Toki was making a promise to the people of Wano that everything would be alright. All she had was hope.

Or they can just see that Orochi and Kaido are done and the Strawhat crew are considered the saviors of the island. Again, that's even if it's the strawhats, which I doubt. (Could very well be Momo and his retainers)

You are goalposting what you believe should happen, not what is already obviously been set by the story.

The samurai have been cheering on the strawhats since the beginning. This also doesn't just include the fact that Kid/Law/Killer are also saviors just as much as any other strawhat, or the fact that multiple scabbards won fights as well.

Prophecies aren’t something that exist in story they’re literary devices and this prophecy is still being used as such.

You are goalposting that it suggests it's the crew fighting Kaido. That's IS in fact goalposting. It MUST mean that to you is what you are saying

Not doing so would just be ebelieving it's the crew and nothing else. Nothing has suggested they are relevant to fighting Kaido.

Adcoc, FS, speed, physical strength, insane durability, insane stamina, not to mention that his base haki are monstrous according to Law.
He literally is a prime Garp without DF. Laughs, people still don't understand how broken kaido is.

Half of what you said can be attributed to his DF, don't forget that Yamato is also an Oni and she doesn't have endless stamina or is hyped up to be indestructible. Kaido's still a beast tho.

First, infinite resistance never existed.
Second, is Yamato a PURE ONI or something?

Durability and increased attributes that kaido as a base already has as being superior to humans?


You don't need to be an expert to realize that demons have greater durability, physical strength, and toughness than ordinary humans, kaido as a being has inherited attributes from its race, and the one in which your species excels the most, haki does not rely on DF.

So the base of kaido without DF is already very strong.

And you’re goalposting saying the straw hats WONT be relevant at the end despite the fact that every time Kaidos defeat is mentioned were hinted that it’s the straw hats who’ll do it:

1. The nine shadows prophecy - Kaido has said that Luffy casts strong shadows - Luffy is being portrayed as the dawn and the coming of the sun
2. Odens words about “in twenty years powerful pirates will blast into the new world” despite only one pirate crew entering the new world exactly 20 years after he spoke those words.

The straw hats are very likely relevant in the climax of this fight.

Luffy beating the Kaido and the straw hats defeating Kaido aren’t mutually exclusive

Alone the fact that Kaido tank lot of G5 attacks show that the one OKG wouldn´t knock him out, but his attack would knock out G4 Luffy.
It is clearly that Drunk Hybrid Kaido would win against G4, yet the same monster still keep tanking hits.
Same Kaido who took over 50named attacks, who fought 16 different characters, low diffed entire scabbards with just Base form.
Yeah it is clear that Kaido is stronger then Luffy, this will change perhaps after wano or when he beat and defeat BB.^^
However current Luffy is easily a mid top tier if not higher.
