Or they can just see that Orochi and Kaido are done and the Strawhat crew are considered the saviors of the island. Again, that's even if it's the strawhats, which I doubt. (Could very well be Momo and his retainers)

You are goalposting what you believe should happen, not what is already obviously been set by the story.

The samurai have been cheering on the strawhats since the beginning. This also doesn't just include the fact that Kid/Law/Killer are also saviors just as much as any other strawhat, or the fact that multiple scabbards won fights as well.
