And don’t be upset if Oda follows through with the prophecies he wrote
You are exaggerating "prophecy" to specifically mean the '10 strawhats will fight Kaido together" lmao. Nowhere in the story had this been stated.

You guys like to take words so literally that "defeating Kaido" must mean 10 v 1 final bout for some reason, as opposed to Luffy's crew just defeating Kaido's crew.

But OK, believe what you want

brick wall basically A character with no weaknesses, doesn’t ever looks like going down and has infinite stamina, defence and attack is just a boring character
you are also sort of describing luffy pal ..... do you find him boring?

he looks like that because for a good portion of the fight luffy wasnt strong enough to do it
he had clear weaknesses , the first explored with acoa , then acoc etc

the issue was luffy wasnt strong enough to make him pay but gradually over the course of the fight he got better.

None of the other characters that fought Kaido weakened him at all and if you think they did you're gassing them up way too much. The other characters that fought him left the equivalent of scratches on him and it was pretty much 99% HP Kaido vs Luffy.
Suuuure. :seriously:

He was on the ground coughing blood and in awe how powerful Luffy has become from that mere 1 ryuo enhanced punch yet all the damage of the other characters was about 1%. Do you seriously believe that? :pepecafe:

And you’re trying so hard to deflect rather than accepting the simplest answer is very typically the right one

I never said it was. But it clearly differs from user to user. Luffy achieved his by being at one with the mental state of his Zoan fruit.

Kaido speaks in this chapter about the fact that he knows how one awakens their fruit and that you have to mentally be at one with your Zoan fruit.

That means that he has been awakened this whole time or something happens where he becomes awakened
I just think he knows about it like he knows about JoyBoy, him knowing about awakening doesn’t make him awakened, him talking about JoyBoy doesn’t make him JoyBoy.

He just knows because he fought the strongest in the OP world and it’s normal to know such things for a charachter that strong

luffy in wano has been boring as fuck I agree. Losing then powerup then losing then powerup is boring as shit.

Oda somehow made it interesting in Alabasta but had failed too ridiculously in Wano

It’s because in Alabasta it was like Luffy constantly learning in every loss. He figured out crocs devil fruit weakness first. He figured out how to do this better the second and won the third time. In Wano it’s just raising his power level without really learning anything.

he pulled out future sight 2 chaps ago
and explained awakening to luffy (he might have one of his own)
if he does then that statement would be correct.
Maybe, you’re right about future sight but I don’t think he is holding his power or something Luffy is weakening him with G5 and he’s beginning to crumble, I don’t think he has an awakening in his sleeve he would be too powerful ( he already is )

Yes LOL. Do you deadass think the Scrubbards left any actual damage on Kaido? :whitepress: The only character that did anything at all besides Luffy was Zoro scarring him. None of the other characters did jack shit in terms of damage to Kaido and he was not weakened before fighting Luffy 1v1. :kayneshrug:

Again comes down to Kadio being nothing but a brick wall of nothing. He’s just boring to fight against

Page 4&5
Kaido: I'm glad you're still as cocky as ever Strawhat! When both your mind and body are caught up by your ability, that is what awakening means. What a ridiculous power!!
It seems Kaido is referring to how awakened zoan users seem to lose all reason, like the impel down guards. I think this indicates that Kaido is still not using awakening like people think, and it would also imply that what happened to the impel down guards is happening to Luffy too, at least a little bit.

...literally not deflecting.

The simple truth is that prophecy has not alluded to it being Luffy's crew (yet, sure it can be) nor has it pointed to his crew fighting Kaido. Kaido is his crew. They fought his crew. No need to inflate this any more than it has to be.

hmm you are consistent so I cant fault it
but personally villains who make it extremely difficult >>>>>
keeps you thinking about what the protagonist could do to bypass that
I do agree tho, the consecutive power ups after each fall could have been done better because after a while we just sort of expected him to get one once he got in trouble.
