Powers & Abilities Do you like it as Luffy is this strong?

I feel that oda should not have made the top tiers this strong, because as of right now Luffy might actually beat his whole crew compared to pre-ts where people won't think of making threads like Luffy vs the straw hats. Or is it that the strawhats are too weak, but that is not the case as luffy top 3 if we include yamato can beat any yonko crew top three, and even the normal trio can beat yonko top fighters bar their commander and even nami can beat a veteran fighter so I won't really say the strawhats are weak I would say they are exceptionally strong. so even if you think luffy might not beat the strawhats he is obviously beating a yonko crew top fighter altogether.

I am so happy now Luffy doesn't have to be all bloody and dirty to win the fight. He is to be the Pirate King, why should he extreme diff every battle? He is to be the greatest EOS.
Because pirate king doesn't mean 'strongest in all the lands'. You know there has to be struggle in some form in the story. If Luffy can now low-diff every fight Oda's just going to put some other handicap in the way of him steamrolling through every situation.

Yeah, it's necessary. What comes after this breaks the mold. Clearly:

- Kaido thinks Shanks is one of the top pirates. The only living one who Luffy was compared to as the "ceiling", the rest are dead and were the strongest pirates in the world.

- Blackbeard will clearly be more broken with his powers. This wss always a given

- Akainu is that equivalent in the Marine side. His Admirals are subjective and depend on what advantage/disadvantage they have or play to their opponents. Kizaru could be insanely broken and still wreck G5 Luffy if his FS is not mastered for example. But that doesn't he's stronger than Kaido lets say.

- Gorosei/Im MAY also be of a similar level, but it's Unconfirmed as of now.

Where he is now is not that hard to comprehend future opponents still. It's gonna be a good time

Luffy has been David for too long mate. Its time he becomes the Goliath.
It's not black and white. I'm not sure he's ever been the David, being the underdog is just how you make winning more enjoyable. Then again Oda is a poor enough writer that I wouldn't put making the rest of the story a big ass ego trip for Luffy past him. I worry for what kind of poorly-explained reasons Oda will make up to stop Luffy from just beating up the main villain every arc though. Maybe we'll see some more amnesia

What makes you think Luffy is strong?
His damaji seems just as low as ever, equal to his base...
Jumping the rope is all nice and good but it does 0 damaji.
Nothing much changed aside from stamina refills due to "funny heartbeats".
One Ragnarok was still enough to defeat him.
So, what's "so strong" about Luffy?

From what I see, Zoro still one-shots him, just like before.

He’s stronger than I was expecting at any rate.

I thought this arc would have Luffy need a lot more help to beat Kaido (in general I thought the Strawhats would need more help beating the Beast Pirates)

But Oda’s propelled them instead into firm Yonko level status. The way Wano’s went I think there’s only one big crew vs crew fight with the Blackbeard’s left in the series. Every other arc will just be Punk Hazard or Drum like, fight wise.

Kaido went through a gauntlet, Luffy is on his 6th round, he is still going to extreme diff and might even take another L before ZKK.
Luffybros: Luffy is so strong, he can beat his entire crew.
Reality: Luffy gets one shotted by Zoro.

Let's just hope he is now strong enough to beat his next opponents in one round, and won't need Zoro to finish them for him. I guess that's reasonable considering we're "near" the end. No more than two rounds, please Oda, enough is enough.

It's good. It make many Zoroboys cry in this forum. I like it.
Someone needs to explain to me in details how Luffy is even above rooftop Zoro... I just can't come to that conclusion from what I've seen in the manga so far.

No one is crying about Luffy's PU, except maybe Luffybros because of how weak it is. Read chapter 1000 again and chapter 1046 after that. It feels like we're back to square one. The damaji is as low as ever. Kaido just got tired from fighting so much I guess...
