Because him is counter to Lightining, thats why he can catch, the same could say a guy who puts gloves and has a boot he can touch the string with lightining.

No, it is basically maximizing damage output without exerting extra force. Reread Udon training. Luffy is not bypassing Kaidou durability by punching harder.
