Versus Battle Why I think Kisame and Itachi cant defeat Jiraiya

If so can't they break Itachi's tsukuyomi?

Jiraya is very fast in Sage mode, not Ay level but fast enough I'd say. If he knows it's coming i think he's evading it.

I have a hard time seeing Jiraya beat Susanoo though

Effects will already take hold of jiraiya before it can be broken

Yea but Sasuke's Base speed was enough to evade it for a couple seconds. Sage mode Jiraya is much faster than that.

Well it takes time where itachi freely manipulates time.

The moment he looks to jiraiya he will be effected by it and done with it.

Jiraya knows off Tsukuyomi too well. Sage mode would allow him to fight Itachi without looking him in the eyes. In chance he gets caught in it the toads should be able to free him.

Also, Jiraya's physical stats are much higher than those of Itachi. He'll have to avoid close combat.

I can agree with that for sure. Never thought Jiraya is really beating Itachi but it's closer than most think to me.

Sorry I had to reword my comment. 7th Gate Gai could blitz Itachi before he gets a chance to pull out Susanoo imo. It really depends what attack he could land and if it would be enough to beat Itachi

I think after Susanoo is out is pretty much GG for Gai.
