How would Carrot know to associate Nika with Joyboy and the dawn? When Luffy defeats Kaido, Carrot's natural reaction would be "Wow, Luffy is so strong!" not "Wow, Luffy is joyboy and that means he's going to bring the dawn to the world which relates to what Pedro said!" The only people who should have that kind of reaction are Momo, Yamato, and Zunesha.
But if you want to take the word of japanese fans vs someone who regularly talks to the author himself, that's you.
How about the other points I brought up in that post? The DF number theory can't be the only thing you care about.
good to know 👍🏿No offense to greg, I'm aware of who he is and bear him no ill will but nothing he said on that 3rd line is ground-breaking or concrete.
We all know Oda likes to troll if you've read the SBS long enough you'd know that but we also know Oda likes to use witty patterns like this in his story so both can be true. Seeing tho how Nika just so happened to match the devil pattern theory it's pretty obvious who is wrong on this. Don't know why y'all are denying the obvious lol but is whatever we can agree to disagree on this.
It would not be about associating Nika with Joyboy or the dawn, it would be all about connecting Luffy to it's mentor's dream and the will of the mink, the rest can be done later with Carrot asking Nekomamushi about the legend. But what she needs is to make the actual connection other than "wow Luffy is strong" What she needs to think is "Wow Luffy.. is this what Pedro was talking about?"
Everything regarding Carrot is pointing to her becoming a strawhat BUT there is something missing.. that little hint showing that carrot will follow Luffy not just because she wants to have fun again.
In a way, Carrot must have the same type of realization Jimbe had during the war.. the realization that Luffy is more than just a strong and fun friend.

Yamato is a supportive/main arc character she was bound to have strong moment just like Vivi had far stronger moments that Robin had on Alabasta.. She was known as The World Dangerous Woman and not to mention she was the ONLY ONE that can read the ancient writing and the world government put a bounty on her head at 8 years old if that doesn't show to be important I don't know what to tell you Vivi was important so was Robin too

Roger possible Joyboy as well. As Yamato said “I would never luff at your brother, Ace. He said the same thing a great person in odens journal” that is the reason Yamato decided to follow Luffy. That’s why he reacted as soon as Momo mention Joyboy he said “did Zunesha just say that?”

No. She was a supporting ennemy character. Her importance only came to light during the very end of whole cake. Her status gave you the illusion of importance (and Oda was counting on that). But in the fact, what Robin did was very little until the very end of the arc.
That makes her a savior, not a foundamental character of the arc. By that logic I could say that carrot saved the strawhat at the end of whole cake and is therefore important in the arc. (and don't even TRY to debate that point, I won't reply to BS more than necessary) And it would not be fair. Carrot was not THAT important in the arc.
On the other hand, you couled argue that Brook was.
