people are misinterpreting kaidou's phrase as always, kaido said skills are not necessary to dominate the world, that doesn't mean a person with skill can't do it, he just made it clear that a person without DF can also do this.

Imagine Wapol or Spandam or even Foxy being one of the de facto villains of an arc for multiple years now? That's what Orochi is.

Still no hybrid, awakening or anything special about his DF despite it being the fucking Orochi fruit, except for the fact he can seem to have multiple lives? Thats more of a Hydra than Orochi thing I think too? But even so, that can't be all there is to the fruit surely?

Wasnt Mihawk the WSS during Roger's era? So why didnt he become PK? Oh he didnt want to? Right? What makes you think any of these men vyed for the WSS title then?

Shanks and Mihawk had duels with no victor. Shanks is a Yonko with different goals and ambitions. Ambition's literal fucking translation is Haki.

Yeah, you need to accept that Shanks is a swordsman just like Roger in this regard, and both are weaker than Mihawk. It's time for you to stop with your ridiculous Shanks > Mihawk claims, not only the canon material shows the opposite, but it would shit on Zoro's dream, and obviously that's not happening.

The one-armed master swordsman is still insanely strong and whatever he uses in the future will be associated to swordsmanship, stop downplaying swordsmen.

Need to wait for the chapter since this just went straight up for debate with Kaidou remarking that abilities are not needed to dominate the world. Roger need not be the strongest if one implication of that statement is true.

to the shanks argument they havent fought in 12 + years
and shanks keeps getting top notch portrayal from kaido himself
a lot of room for fans to speculate and seeing roger who fights with a sword and is prob just a guy with an abnormal willpower (just like shanks) gives the room to speculate .
