Imagine thinking Mihawk is a top tier when his only real fight is going to be against YC1 Zoro and it will be a defeat

To be fair, I will say that by then Zoro will probably have defeated Shiryu, an Admiral and maybe a Gorosei (if they are strong) by that point, so it's justifiable to say that Mihawk is a peak character.

Its just not justifiable to say he is THE peak character lol, not when he's not Luffy's enemy. Zoro will never surpass the MC of the series, so respective of this, Mihawk will never be stronger than Blackbeard or Shanks or Im or Akainu IF any of them are the final antagonists.

One Piece isn't about swordsmen but Zoro's part of the story is about him surpassing the previous swordsmen. I am not sure what's so hard about accepting a simple fact. Naturally, if Zoro's gonna be that OP, Luffy'll be even bigger, so there is no need to be so insecure if that's what you're worried about.
