Even in Katakuri fight, the game changer wasn't haki. Unlocking Future Sight was number 2 factor, the game changer is Katakuri being retarded: eating before making sure he already finished Luffy, allowed Luffy to run away using Brulee and finally stabbed his own stomach.

So Kaido's statement "without DF you can still dominate" won't work on Luffy.

You do realise that Haki is not just hitting harder...nothing will happen to logia even when you hit harder without haki...

it amplifies attack power, so in the end its very much just "hit harder", it affecting Logias doesnt change that
