Give me the elevator pitch on why

For starters it's animated by Madhouse the greatest anime production company there is so you can expect top tier animation.
The story itself is extremely dark so you gotta be into it. It's about a bunch of teens/young adults in japan ( post WW2 iirc) that meet each other in prison and become friends. Each of em had a pretty sad past and get through some fucked up shit in prison like rape, torture etc.

Definitely recommend it as it is pretty short

i remember before Wano we thought the Shogun was gonna be a scary / badass swordsman that had the shodai kitetsu and was gonna be Zoro's fight, while Luffy fights Kaido

and then Oda went with this:

This is honestly better though.
Two badasses villains in the same Arc would be pretty lame and tiring.
Also the Shogun being a fucking Snake and Coward is a good twist as well
